As I previously mentioned- this family is amazing! We are so happy Kayla and Brandon chose Better Tie to help with her maternity pictures. We so lucked out with the weather this day. It was suppose to rain, but we only had clouds and the rain held off for a couple hours. Kayla really wanted to be outside so we picked the Poinsett Bridge; South Carolina's oldest bridge. I may be biased but I thought her photo shoot turned out great! Below is just a small sample of what we captured that day.
The very first photo shoot we did with Kayla and Brandon was their high school senior portraits! Next, we photographed their engagement session, and then their wedding. Being a small part of their journey has been so fun! And now, we are photographing their growing family, with adorable 2 year old, Bodie. They are also about to have their second baby any day now! Kayla's maternity shoot will be up soon. We could not be happier for them and so thankful to have great clients like this.

I actually met Mary Beth at our bank and we have been great friends ever since! So when it came time for her to get married she asked me for help finding vendors. Of course she already knew who she wanted for photography. :) We photographed them at the beautiful Lindsey Plantation for their engagement session. We are excited to photograph their wedding there as well. Take a look at just a few of there e-session pictures.
Hey Guys!! I know we are way behind on post's but we have been staying busy with lots of stuff to come soon. We actually have known John and Ashly for awhile now and have loved being able to photograph their wonderful family. This is some of the fall pictures we did right before Christmas. We actually started taking the Coleman's family photos about 3 years ago. They tried to get them done at another place and after waiting 2.5 hours left and called us and we have been photographing them ever since. I love their family and enjoy seeing the kids growing up. I always work around their schedule and pick a location that the kids can play and get energy out so that it's more like "fun" photo time rather than "be still" photo time. So I told you we would put up some of this wonderful couples photos from their wedding day. I just have to say we are so blessed at what we get to do. Yes it's a lot of work and we put in some long hours but when you get to work with great couples and their families it just makes it all worth it.

When we met Michelle she was such a sweet heart, it wasn't until the end of the meeting that we even talked about photographing her wedding. We just sat there exchanging family stories like we were old friends. Sometimes I think my job is just to meet new and interesting people with great stories and just photographing of filming their event is the bonus.
